Abstract

After painstaking efforts in collecting accounting information - in the midst of non-availability of scientifically-cum-published information apart from none-to-satisfactory haphazard accounting data kept in disjointed files leading to non-availability of the required information as and when needed. The author has after detailed analysis of the case studies of two government companies. ADARICE production (Nigeria) ltd., and Maharashtra Khadi and value Industries Board; Handmade Paper Institute applying the unique Wall-Dunning Measure of Testing Creditability has come to the conclusion that both companies are sick and has proposed financial management measures to overcome their sickness.
