Abstract

This paper introduces ways to serve the commercial need to optimize protection for intangible firm capital or assets by taking advantage of options provided by copyrights, patents, trademarks, and trade secrets. Although published in Corporate Counsel's Quarterly in 2002, its guidance remains current.
