Globalization, technological developments, volatility of consumer demands, and shorter product life cycles have precipitated continuing radical environmental shifts, and demanded a strategic perspective from those who manage and lead organizations. There is now a greater focus on understanding the ways in which the human resource drives business, with a strong emphasis on developing entrepreneurial individuals and management teams as key elements of organizational. These changes have placed increased pressure on employees to be more productive, innovative and change orientated. Therefore, we need performance whenever we talk about globalization and its perspectives. Here age can be a major factor to keep some vital role to show performance level of a performer those who are keep active contributing in an organization. Longer and healthier life gifted by the improved medical science made the employee workable for a longer period. This eventually is increasing the percentage share of older workforce to total and also blocking the opportunities of recruiting young in large extent. Besides, higher percentage of older worker also forces to extend their service life in the organization instead of replacing them with the fresher. Therefore, this study is done to know the performance ratio of aged and less aged people in a specific workplace. Although some research is already made in this context, but they were defined as culture bound. Therefore, the researchers decided to conduct an elaborate research in finding out the relationship between age and job performance in third world country like Bangladesh.
