Abstract
The case study has been designed to support a computer-supported collaborative learning experiment where students engage in real world problems. As part of the case study, students were expected to solve a real-world problem by collaborative and group-based information exchange activities such as discussions, debates and report writing. Emphasis was placed also on the communicative character of instruction and the activities included interaction between the instructor and the students and between the students themselves.
