Abstract

Author Redwood, presents the story of an aged Vietnamese man living in Schenectady, New York. Horribly burned by a napalm attack at the An Loc Battlefield, the old man has lived with the scars of war. A chance encounter with a young Vietnamese girl calls forth memories of youth, dignity, and hope lost to the ravages of war and cultural marginalization.
