Abstract

The annual survey of the Legal Writing Institute and the Association of Legal Writing Directors provides insights into the development of legal writing programs nationwide. This PowerPoint accompanied the author's symposium presentation at Mercer University School of Law in 2009. Topics analyzed include student-teacher ratios, uniformity of the curriculum, credits and semesters, status of legal writing faculty, participation in faculty governance, academic freedom, etc.
