Abstract

The failure by the EC to consider for approval applications for the biotech products and national marketing and import bans maintained by member States. The United States argued in the WTO case that the EU has adopted a general moratorium on all new biotech products, and separate product-specific moratoria on each new biotech product. To understand the complexity of the issue, I will use an example of global trade involving organic and non organic products.
