Abstract

The field of labour law, as an area of policy formation and academic study, is undergoing what amounts to a paradigmatic reconsideration. Many ideas are being advanced for how the subject may be reconceptualised or redefined. But is any progress being made towards a useable new concept of labour law which at the same time retains some of the core values of the original paradigm? This paper reviews the debate

Keywords: labour law, labour law as a field of enquiry, current directions in labour law
