Abstract
This paper analyzes trade between Indian and Nepal in its historical perspective. One of the main issues this paper examines is related to the idea that whether the bilateral Indo-Nepal trade regime would come to an end after Nepal joins the WTO or not. The background is that some people are mistakenly arguing that after Nepal’s entry into the WTO, the need for Indo-Nepal bilateral trade agreement would cease.
