Abstract

This paper will present a new definition and classification about policy modeling. Additionally, this paper proposes a new index is entitled “The Policy Modeling Research Consistency Index (PMC) Index.” There are four basic phases in the implementation of PMC-Index. The first phase is the using of multi-input-output table. The second phase is the classification of variables and parameters. The third phase is the measuring of PMC-Index. The last phase is the drawing of PMC-Surface. The general objective of PMC-Index is to offer policy-makers and researchers a new analytical tool to detect strengths or weaknesses points of any research paper related to policy modeling.
