Abstract
In the present paper it will be shown empirically that globalisation does not affect long term unemployment. Panel data cover for the period (1999-2009) the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, UK and the United States. The elaboration of the single equation econometric model is made feasible through the Eviews software package.
