Abstract

The author, an invited speaker at the Symposium on "Modernizing Marriage Through E-Marriage," held at the Michigan State University College of Law on November 11-12, 2010, reflects on his own and his husband's personal experiences with the odyssey of legal recognition of, and legal attacks upon, equal marriage rights for gay and lesbian couples.
