Abstract

The article explains from the practical point of view the procedure for the acquisition of a concession for prospecting and exploration of hydrocarbons in Poland. Based on this analysis arguments are presented in support of a thesis that the current legal framework in Poland concerning the prospecting and exploration of hydrocarbons strongly protects the energy interests of the country.
