Abstract

This company is 14 years old, supplying Pesticides to farmers and the government agencies. The founders and their family have their family businesses in an unrelated area, which was selling technologies associated with the environment. Sudden demise of Dhruv’s mother, the younger son of the founder manager of the parent business followed by internal family disputes with the elder brother, forced Dhruv to resign a corporate job in a chemical industry. He returned home from Mumbai. To start a new business, the initial business failed; meanwhile an opportunity to be in agro chemical business arose, which he seized upon.
