Abstract

This is a book review essay of Dambisa Moyo's book Dead Aid. Moyo's argument that all country-to-country foreign aid programs should be abolished caused quite a bit of controversy in foreign aid policy circles. I argue that the strength of the book is not in its oversimplified, polemical argument, but in the practical financial alternatives to aid which she offers.
