Abstract

In this article, the practitioner-professor authors argue that the information technology available to lawyers today has asserted a dominion that makes it more than a tool. Technology is fast becoming the integration and expression of law practice itself. Its prevalence and dominance demand that lawyers study technology’s impact on the practice of law and, for that matter, on the meaning of law and justice. There is no remaining ground on which to stand like the proverbial Luddite.
