Abstract

The book, “Night,” written by journalist and Nazi Death Camp survivor Eliezer Wiesel, is a compelling account of a father and son’s struggle to survive in the face of the most terrifying atrocities ever unleashed on a single race of people. From its ordinary beginnings through the nightmarish accounts that followed, Wiesel’s experiences would ultimately change his religious perspective. Thus, the scope of this investigate will trace the changes in Wiesel religious outlook as events in his life grew ever more disturbing.
