Abstract

This paper provides an overview of therapeutic jurisprudence and drug courts generally, and examines the Court Mandated Drug Diversion program in Tasmania, Australia. Data from five court sessions and interviews with 22 practitioners is analysed to provide recommendations for the future development of the program.
