Abstract

Former President Jimmy Carter earned the ire and wrath of the Zionists for his book, Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid. There are many anti-Zionist Jewish scholars and intellectuals, who have been even more critical of Israel's apartheid nature. However, they are often dismissed as self-hating Jews. However, the same cannot be said about Nahum Goldmann (1895-1982), who was for a long time the President of the World Zionist Organization and played vital role both in the Zionist movement as well as during the formative years of the State of Israel. His thoughts, reflections and proposed ideas, coming from someone with indisputable Zionist luminary, are illuminating and enlightening.
