Abstract

There are a number of trusts rarely encountered in estate planning, including blind trusts, business trusts, gun trusts, pet trusts, child actor trusts and rabbi trusts, to name only a few. There are also some arrangements referred to as trusts that don’t fit the traditional trust definition. This presentation will examine some of these little-known trusts and trust-like arrangements that may fill an estate planning need in a way that no other arrangement could.
