Abstract

In January 2009, the Spanish Commission for Codification presented a wide-ranging reform proposal for the Spanish law of obligations that, because of the particular attention paid to European legal developments, would deserve to be more closely taken into consideration in the ongoing discussion on a future European Sales Law. This article aims to give a general overview of the Spanish reform proposal in the light of European and International Contract Law Principles.
