Abstract
This article focuses on federal land use to preserve coastal land use, focusing on the Coastal Zone Management Act (CZMA) and the 1990s Taking Clause. CZMA has faced many challenges, including funding deficiencies and a lacking of court deficiencies, but is very important due to it’s novice nature and the fact that it has brought to light very important issues inside of preservation efforts.
