Abstract
A woman’s rights within marriage and the family greatly affect her ability to control her life and make voluntary, informed reproductive choices. Rights within marriage include reproductive right. Basically, reproductive right is the capability to reproduce and the freedom to decide when and how often to reproduce. Diana Brown in her article sated that reproductive rights refer to the right to manage one’s reproductive processes and their outcome. It gives a woman choice whether to have pregnancy or not. However, most country does not really recognize this right as part of their law. As a result, woman who experience from unplanned or unwanted pregnancy often ended their pregnancy via abortion. Abortion is one of birth control methods, but the problem is this method is prohibited by law in most countries all over the world and as a result women tend to perform abortion illegally in private clinic which does not promised safety.
