The Juran methodology of quality engineering was deployed to investigate the problem and correct the menace of high rejections. As a result of this work, Ovality of super heater bend after post bending improved. Due to improved quality of lubricant oil used wrinkle and mandrel marks controlled.

The usual practice is to deploy the dispersed knowledge with people, and use a Team approach to solve the issues obsessing at the shopfloor.
