Abstract

This study evaluates the impact of policies and programs of the federal government during the 1990’s in the Delta region of the United States. The primary objective of this paper is to determine if policies and programs implemented during the 1990’s, during a period of unprecedented economic growth and expansion resulted in measurable improvements on the economic condition of African Americans in the Delta region of the United States.
