Abstract

Book review of Henry Ford's War on Jews and the Legal Battle Against Hate Speech. The book is an historical account of a Henry Ford's notorious crusade against American Jews and Aaron Sapiro's libel action against him in federal court in Detroit. The book recounts events leading to a 1927 mistrial of the lawsuit and analyzes Ford's highly-publicized apology that precipitated a settlement between the parties.
