Abstract

A new form of individual accountability behavior that is part of individuals’ values, beliefs and supported by personality traits is the focus of this study. The endeavor for the present research is to understand the role of personality factors with respect to individual accountability behavior and develop a scientific instrument that helps in measuring individual accountability behavior.

To our knowledge, there is no such scientific tool available that can help measure individual accountability behavior. With this as background, an attempt is made to design a scale to measure individual accountability behavior. The present research aims to achieve the following objectives:

1. Construct a scale to measure individual accountability behavior.

2. To study the relationship between personality traits that enhances or minimizes accountability. behavior.

3. Understand the role of counseling technique in modifying non-accountable behavior.
