Abstract

Multiracial herself, Trina Grillo exhibited a lifelong interest in law's role in a multiracial society. This essay discusses major works having to do with racial formation and identity, interracial relationships and marriage, census categories and classification, and transracial adoption and custody, showing their relation and how Professor Grillo contributed to this emerging field.
