Abstract

The book provides comprehensive and in-depth study and analysis of Chinese torts law and system. It is primarily based on the 2009 Tort Liability Law of China, and examines the basic principles and rules in Chinese torts regime. It is intended to offer concise and analytical review of tort theories and practices in China and to help better understand Chinese law of torts as well as Chinese legal system in general. It also contains comparison between China and other countries in the rules of torts.
