Abstract

English Abstract: This article's subject is the transition from analog to digital, and its specific theme is digital imaging. To identify the ways in which digital imaging can condition the art that uses it, the article reflects on the technique linked to those images, and relates it to the concept of space in modern philosophy. The article argues that the digital reduces costs and simplifies working with images, but that does not guarantee that digital imaging is a driver of democratization; and argues that, with the introjection of technique and the abuse of "intellectual property", digital imaging can be a driver of commodification and massification.
