Abstract

The article presents a theoretical framework of analysis dealtruization as a new social phenomenon in the knowledge society. The term "altruization" was introduced by Pitirim Sorokin. According to Sorokin`s point of view, individual altruization is possible only through altruization by groups or institutions and vice versa, altruization institutions or groups is possible only through altruization their members. Therefore, dealtruzation also closely related to the condition institutions of society. Groups and institutions` dealtruization possible through dealtruization their members. In a institutions and groups crisis, crisis of individual altruization also take place. The analysis focused on dealtruization as a crisis of altruism in the professions. Professional dealtruization characterized by a decline in the importance of altruistic behavior in professional activities.
