Abstract
This is my introduction to my collection of Currie's casual writings: poems (or "rhymes" as he always referred to them), mysteries, letters, etc. -- many of them humorous. It includes his most famous case poem, "The Rose of Aberlone." Much of what I say in the introduction is based on interviews I conducted, along with Professor Bruce Posnak, of Currie's family, friends, and colleagues. The collection was published by The Green Bag as a gift to its subscribers in 2001.
