Abstract
WHEN,on July 9, 1964, an agreement was signed in London by representatives of Singapore, Sarawak, Sabah and the Federation of Malaya that these States should unite, Indonesia, the Philippines and the Federation of Malaya requested that there be a United Nations inquiry as to the willingness to unite of the populations of the North Borneo territories.
