Abstract

Many evolutionary, energy and technology trends show a post economic future that is growing in the form of something that can be called the Symbology. The Symbology is an evolutionary domain like the ecology and economy before it that functions as a set of selective adaptive processes.

The Symbology’s difference from Evolution’s previous Ecological and Economic domains is its use of symbolic logic structures and computation in the form of algorithmic steps to adapt and select rather than relying on bio-chemicals and economic innovations for informational adaptation.

The Symbology’s knowledge stores and expressed structural forms are symbolically based initially existing in physical form and then becoming electronic. In the spirit of post economic debate this chapter is a thesis about the Symbology and its trajectory towards higher phi(m) energy processing metrics.

This document has been updated to include an explanation of blockchain and smart contract roles as important emergent forms in accelerating the ascendant symbology and its associated Phi(m) energy metrics.
