Why Intellectual Property Belongs in the First-Year Property Course

Abstract

The purpose of this article is twofold. First, it makes the case for teaching intellectual property in the first-year property course. Then, it urges property professors to consider teaching the right of publicity as the IP doctrine of choice in the first-year property curriculum.
