12 Pages Posted: 9 Aug 2006
Abstract
This article introduces a symposium on Enhancing the Accountability of Lawyers for Unprofessional Conduct. The symposium grew out of a conference co-sponsored by the University of South Carolina School of Law's Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough Center on Professionalism and the Stanford Law School's Keck Center on Legal Ethics and the Legal Profession. In this volume, the authors consider a wide range of professionalism issues and propose a variety of thoughtful and creative ways to improve the conduct of lawyers.
