Abstract

Corporate Governance (CG) - a current buzzword sweeping across corporate circles worldwide has important implication in the various matters; relating to adherence of rules, independence, faithfulness, transparency and so forth that can be summed up as adoption of the Code of Best Business Practices. Corporate sector faces plethora of problems ranging from financial to legal to administrative and what not! In fact in corporate sector CG is old as old is civilisation, and that is inherent part of management. Corporate Governance cannot solve the problem, but Good Corporate Governance can solve it. Good Corporate Governance increase value of shareholders and in long term it create value for society.
