Abstract
Presumption of Constitutionality of Statutes is an important legal theory developed by common law courts to deal with the cases challenging the constitutionality of statutes.
In this paper an attempt has been made to examine the basis and nuances of this doctrine and the way it has been interpreted by Courts in India.
