Abstract

This research paper highlights Singaporean leaders and Singaporeans as embracing the core values of pro-activeness, achievement, prudence and other key Singapore values which are vital to the island-Republic's efficiency and progress. Indeed these core values serve as a preparation and planning against crisis. With input through interviews with forty-three corporate leaders, key Singapore values are put forth as being critical to built-in crisis preparedness, prevention and containment among employees within organisations (and also citizens within the Republic).
