Abstract

This study is an empirical analysis of Operational Risks Management and Corporate Governance Practice followed in developing economies like India. Creation of a sound governance, risk-management, and internal control environment starts by making it part of the strategic-planning exercise. Good Corporate Governance practice provides a way to realize the vision of mitigating risks and optimizing performance simultaneously in today's competitive and regulatory environment. Under this framework, the study evaluates current Indian corporate governance practices in light of Operational Risk Management.
