Abstract
The article analyses the role of free movement in company law in Europe, after the Centros line of judgments by the European Court of Justice. There is still no free movement of companies in Europe but the national company laws have undergone fundamental change. The consequences for integration and corporate practice are many, and also for tax policies of the member states.
