Abstract

This paper explores issues that are central to designing,and particularly to the design of information systems. Itportrays the context of design, the considerations that gointo designing - how these are in conflict, and how theyare ultimately resolved - and the role of creativity inthis process. A set of design principles is presented anddiscussed.
