Abstract

Covering the potential legal risks inherent in distributed co-creation, with an analysis focused on the role of intellectual property law. The paper shows that both proprietary models as well as 'open' collaboration are viable for distributed problem solving and outline the distinctive challenges both paradigms are facing.
