Abstract

The new Israeli Copyright Act, which was recently passed by the Israeli Parliament, adopts a mechanism which does not deprive employees of moral rights, while limiting such rights in appropriate cases, based on a standard of reasonableness. This solution to the on-going dilemma with respect to employees' moral rights reflects adherence to the principle of moral rights while recognizing the economic interests underlying copyright law.
