Abstract

This article summarizes advice for how to handle it when your supervisor prefers that your legal writing be more traditional, formal, and old-fashioned. The article advises you not to take a stand at the expense of your job, to try modern approaches when you are in sole control of the document, and to have back-up when you do take a stand.
