Abstract
Considers the harmonisation of privacy and personality rights in the EU. Examines similarities between common and civil law systems, focusing on the examples of the UK, US, France and Germany. Reviews possible methods of harmonisation, including theories of liability, measure of damages, the general principles of law, the harmonisation of typological differences and the use of private law relationships.
