Abstract
This review essay reviews two books on Foucault: Leonard Hammer's 'A Foucauldian Approach to International Law' and Sergei Prozorov's 'Foucault, Freedom and Sovereignty'. In the course of reviewing the two texts and relating them to each other, an incipient Foucaultian theory of law is sketched - one which emphasizes the generative incompletion of law.
