Benchmarks of Quality for the Evaluation of Legal Research in the Fields of Civil Law, Private Law and Legal Analysis

Abstract
This article proposes benchmarks of quality for the evaluation of legal research in the fields of civil law, private law and legal analysis. This aim is accomplished by taking into account: law review articles and legal books; conferences; visiting professor and visiting scholar stays; awards and scholarships; positions at editorial boards and peer review systems; and impact factor of scientific publications.
