Abstract

The history of the educational systems of Colombia and Argentina, there are identified different origins and common processes of development. While Colombia was presenting educational problems, Argentina was presenting better educational achievements. Then, during in the 20th century, with the development and expansion of the national systems of education, it became common that the countries faced processes of external intervention, crisis of resources for the sector and new orientations aroun the educational priorities of the governments.
