Abstract
In Entrepreneurs and Democracy, Gomez and Korine analyze the dynamics of corporate governance over the last two centuries, that is, since the birth of modern society and the beginnings of capitalism. Starting from the quintessential question of ‘What gives the right to direct a corporation’, they explore how corporate governance has co-evolved with the transformation of the entrepreneur and the spread of democracy to reach its current form.
